they have as many features as larger wooden climbing frames and are perfect for
a child’s party. The party boy or girl and their friends will have plenty to
keep them occupied at a party with all the fantastic features they have

Party Game Ideas with Wooden
Climbing Frames
Many
young children don’t have very long attention spans. Despite our wooden
climbing frames feature’s keeping them entertained for ages; some little ones
might like to play some games during a party as well. Keep reading to find out
some party games that we can recommend:
- Balloon Bash: Inflate
some balloons for the party guests. The aim of this game is to be the last
person standing with their balloon still in one piece. This is excellent fun
and can be played outside and on the wooden climbing frames. You could even
fill the balloons full of water! We recommend ensuring that no clothes will get
spoilt. Or in the party invitation advise for outdoor clothes to be worn.
- Musical Statues: All
those who are joining in have to run around and use the wooden climbing frames
while there is music playing, the moment the music stops each child has to
stand as still as a statue while there isn’t any music playing. Whoever moves
when there isn’t any music playing is out! Keep going until there is a winner.
- Obstacle Race: This
has the option of being played in teams or individually. Put lots of obstacles
in a line so that the players have to complete a lap or circuit within a
certain amount of time, and the fastest time is the winner. If you wanted to
incorporate your wooden climbing frames into the game, the players could run a
lap around the wooden climbing frame, climb up the rock wall and then slide
down the slide, hang from the trapeze bar, swing once on the belt swing and
then to finish skip a lap around the wooden climbing frames.
- Draw a Cat: To play this game, players can use the vinyl chalk wall in their wooden climbing frames. The player needs to be blindfolded and draw a cat. To start off with, they need to draw the body, then pause, draw the nose, take another pause and draw the eyes etc. It can be very amusing to see what they come up with! If using the vinyl chalk wall in your wooden climbing frame to play this; make sure that children are supervised at all times while on it.
We
hope these garden play ideas will help incorporate your wooden climbing frames
into some party games.
